Chocolate and Roses Are So Old School
So we all know Valentine's Day is right around the corner...but how will you be celebrating? Some may just be hanging with the friends, while others will be with their significant others. Don't know what to get them? Well stop stressing because I've found the perfect gifts!
FunkyTown Donuts in Fort Worth, Texas is changing the typical bouquet and replacing the roses with DONUTS! Wait,what...yes I said a "doughquet"!
The "doughquets" will come with 2 dozen donut holes in special Valentine's day flavors for just $20, or you can add chocolate covered strawberries for an extra charge to jazz it up! They are taking orders until February 10th at 1pm. If you order the doughquet they have pick up days on the 2/13, 2/14 or 2/15 Between 6:30am-1pm! If you aren't in the DFW area, look around for that big red "Hot Donuts Now" sign at your local Krispy Kreme! This year the featured donut is called The OREO Cookies & KREME! It's an unglazed yeast donut in the shape of a heart filled with an "Oreo Cookie KREME" then is dipped in dark chocolate, dusted with OREO cookie crumbs, and drizzled with a red icing.
Now if OREOS aren't your thing they have plenty of other donuts to complete your box! The chocolate sprinkle is my personal favorite because it is a classic glazed donut dipped in chocolate and
topped with festive sprinkles!
